- Download the images in Fix Central
- ENSURE that you have a working privileged user ("admin") and that you have access to it (meaning the password you're using is recent)
- Login as admin in default domain
- Backup the appliance's configuration
- Export Configuration
- Select Create a backup of the entire system
- Backup files from local:/// on all domains
- Login to application domain
- Export configuration
- Check "Export all local files" option
- Download
- Repeat step 3.a for other domains
- Delete all files in local:/// on all domains to free up space (do this if there's little space left in your appliance)
- Save Configuration
- Disable application domains
- Configuration > Application Domain
- Disable domains other than the default domain
- Save configuration
- Reboot to free up resources
- System Control
- Set mode to Reboot System
- Click shutdown button
- Wait for reboot
- Upload the firmware image
- System Control
- Boot Image > Upload or Fetch
- Verify the firmware upgrade version
- Enable Application Domains and Restore the local:/// files you backed up if there were any.
